So this shoe intentionally has no eyelets for laces that could accidentally get caught, and no metal parts that would make it ideal for EOD. The bands are made of Nomex with an aramid core. The highly durable rubber sole with its special design ensures a secure grip on any terrain, and the shock absorbing properties are gentle on the joints. The inside of the shoe is lined with moisture-wicking micro-mesh. Critical heel and toe areas have an additional abrasion-resistant urethane protective coating.
